About the Role

As a Lead CPU Verification Engineer, you will spearhead the verification efforts for our next-generation CPU cores, ensuring the highest levels of quality and reliability. Your responsibilities will include developing comprehensive verification plans, creating sophisticated testbenches using UVM, and implementing advanced coverage models. You will lead the design and implementation of complex test scenarios to validate CPU functionality, performance, and power efficiency. Collaboration with CPU designers, system architects, and post-silicon validation teams will be crucial. You will oversee the development of reusable verification components, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement in verification methodologies. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge CPU designs, ensuring the correctness and robustness of processors that will power future computing devices.

Requirements

M.E./M.Tech in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of experience in CPU verification. Proven track record in developing comprehensive verification strategies for complex CPU designs. Expertise in SystemVerilog, UVM, and constrained-random verification techniques. Strong background in CPU microarchitecture, pipeline hazards, memory consistency models, and exception handling. Experience with formal verification methods and coverage-driven verification. Proficiency in using industry-standard simulation and debugging tools (e.g., Synopsys VCS, Cadence Xcelium). Familiarity with performance modeling and power analysis tools. Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team of verification engineers.
