About the Role
The Semiconductor CAD Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining CAD tools and scripts for the semiconductor design flow. The role involves working closely with design teams to understand their tool requirements, developing and modifying CAD tools to improve design productivity and quality, and providing technical support to users. The ideal candidate should have strong programming skills and the ability to work collaboratively with design teams to drive CAD tool innovation and adoption.
Requirements
B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. 4+ years of experience in CAD tool development for semiconductor design. Strong expertise in programming languages, such as C++, Python, and Tcl. Knowledge of semiconductor design flows and file formats, such as GDSII and LEF/DEF. Familiarity with CAD algorithms, such as placement, routing, and layout optimization.
